What you need to know . . .
High Ticket Closers (“HTC”) Program offers you the opportunity to invest in yourself and your personal development with our materials, your practice, and shared live access to Dan Lok.
As an HTC Student (“You”), you will pay an upfront fee of either $2,495 USD or three (3) monthly payments of $995 USD. When you purchase HTC, you get a limited license from us to access and use our sites, our materials and content, and services for personal use. This license is revocable at any time, in our sole discretion, as all materials and content created by us are owned by us. You retain ownership of the content you post to our sites.
HTC program is offered by Emperor Commercial Properties, Inc. (“ECP”) whose registered office is at Suite 202 – 2232, West 41st Avenue, Vancouver BC, V6M 1Z8, Canada. As used herein, the term “ECP” refers to ECP and any of its successors, assignees, transferees, subsidiaries, parent and associate corporations, or affiliates.
Due to the nature of our services, which include: downloadable videos, digital documents, tools, and/or streaming videos, online memberships and subscriptions, live events, and client interactions (both online and face-to-face), unless otherwise stated by HTC, all fees payable and due are non-refundable.
If you choose to join the HTC Program by using our 3-month payment plan, you agree that the payment plan is not a subscription, and that, subject to cancellation and refund provisions explained below, you may not terminate or modify your payment plan at will. By making the first payment of $995 USD you agree that you will obtain full access to the HTC Program and you, therefore, agree that your first payment of $995 USD will account towards the full payment of $2985 USD (3 x $995) that we are entitled to for granting you full access to the HTC Program. You authorize us to take all necessary steps available to us at law to collect on any of your outstanding payments.
HTC Program is a 7-week course that we offer to our students in what we call “seasons”—from Class 1 to Class 7. We typically recommend that you take HTC Program from Class 1 of any given Season but, at your request, we may allow you to take HTC Program from Class 2 or Class 3. If you choose to start HTC Program from Class 2 or Class 3 and realize that you wish you had waited until the next season to start from Class 1, you may request to be moved to the next season by sending a request to support@danlok.com. By doing so, you waive your right to a refund, if any.
Otherwise, you may request a refund at any time but no later than 24 hours before Class 3 of your Season is scheduled to begin. For greater clarity, if you joined the HTC Program using our payment plan and if you are eligible for a refund as explained above, we will refund the amounts received from you and release you from payment obligations under future unbilled installments, if any.
Cancellation and refund requests must be sent by email to support@danlok.com. You may not attend any classes or otherwise receive any HTC services after you make your cancellation request. Doing so will render your cancellation request null and void. Cancellation requests received after Class 3 starts will not be eligible for a refund.
HTC may terminate your access to the HTC Program without notice and in its sole discretion, if you misuse HTC’s intellectual property and content, exhibit prohibited uses and behaviors (such as defaming or attempting to defame another person or institution), or breach HTC’s policies and/or rules.
Students who have not gone through the entire program or fully met their payment obligations will not receive their graduation certificate.
Show respect . . .
You are responsible for all the content that you post in our discussion groups. You should keep the reviews, questions, posts, and any other content you upload respectful of others, including ECP, respectful to the intellectual property right of others, and not facilitate the distribution of information or content that is unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, or for an illegal or unauthorized purpose. We, in our sole discretion, may suspend or terminate your subscription for repeated or major offenses or remove any content that does not comply with: (i) these terms; (ii) HTC’s policies and rules; or (iii) is otherwise harmful, objectionable, inaccurate, or unlawful.
By making public posts about HTC or our other programs—whether on social media channels we control or otherwise—or by sending us private communications, you are authorizing us, in perpetuity, to use your posts and communications or extracts therefrom in our marketing and promotional materials as evidence of your success
Posts with opportunities. . .
If you come across an opportunity that will genuinely benefit HTC students, we encourage you to share it with HTC Family—as long as you comply with the following rules: (i) absolutely no private or public offers of paid roleplay; (ii) absolutely no private or public offers of paid coaching, consulting, mentorship, etc.; (iii) absolutely no public offers of free or paid groups or communities, unless such groups are administered by a Team Dan Lok member; (iv) no public posts relating to 3rd-party events, webinars, or courses, unless you have first messaged support@danlok.com and obtained their permission to do so; (v) your post must relate to a genuine opportunity to close or connect with an influencer; and (vi) your post must start with the following disclaimer:
“*** This offer is not endorsed by Dan Lok, Team Dan Lok, or Dan Lok companies. Use common sense to decide if this opportunity is right for you. You agree that you will use this opportunity at your own risk and that Dan Lok and Dan Lok companies will not be liable and hereby disclaim any liability in connection with your results in connection with this opportunity. ***”
If we become aware of you reaching out to HTC students with offers and opportunities that violate this section of these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to permanently ban you from HTC without notice
And finally . . .
You agree that by registering, accessing or using our services, you are agreeing to enter into a legally binding contract with ECP. If you do not agree to these terms, do not register, access, or otherwise use any of our services.
We (and our successors, assignees, transferees, subsidiaries, parent and associate corporations, affiliates, divisions, principals, administrators, directors, officers, board members, agents, employees, contractors, instructors, and insurers) make no warranty that you will obtain specific results from use of the services. Your use of the services (including any content) is entirely at your own risk.
If you behave in a way that gets us in legal trouble, we may seek legal recourse against you. You agree to indemnify, defend (if we so request), and hold harmless ECP, and our successors, assignees, transferees, subsidiaries, parent and associate corporations, affiliates, divisions, principals, administrators, directors, officers, board members, agents, employees, contractors, instructors, and insurers from and against any third-party claims, demands, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from (a) the content you post or submit, (b) your use of the services (c) your violation of these terms, or (d) your violation of any rights of a third-party. Your indemnification obligation will survive the termination of these terms and your use of the services.
You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, contractor, or agency relationship exists between us.
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by applicable law, then that provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of these terms will continue in effect.
Even if we are delayed in exercising our rights or fail to exercise a right in one case, it doesn’t mean we waive our rights under these terms, and we may decide to enforce them in the future. If we decide to waive any of our rights in a particular instance, it doesn’t mean we waive our rights generally or in the future.
From time to time, we may update these terms to clarify our practices or to reflect new or different practices (such as when we add new features), and HTC reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify and/or make changes to these terms at any time. If we make any material change, we will notify you using prominent means such as by email notice sent to the email address specified in your account or by posting a notice through our services. Modifications will become effective on the day they are posted unless stated otherwise.
Your continued use of our services after changes become effective shall mean that you accept those changes. Any revised terms shall supersede all previous terms.
The best way to get in touch with us is to contact us at support@danlok.com. We’d love to hear your questions, concerns, and feedback about our services.
